Hello all
I’m extremely new to HomeAssistant (got my first Pi setup with HassOS today) and literally learning the ropes but so far enjoying the switch from SmartThings to HomeAssistant but have hit a bit of a snag
I know a lot don’t like them and say they can be a bit unreliable but I’ve had no issues with SmartThings Presence/Arrival sensors for a couple of basic automation tasks and hoped to bring them over to HomeAssistant but so far I’m having no luck
I’ve got Zigbee setup using Zigbee2MQTT and so far it works really well and I have a few devices set up but for some reason I cannot add any of my presence sensors?
To Zigbee2MQTT (I’ve even tried the basic ZHA integration) they just don’t seem to be there and they cannot be found. I could understand being able to pair them and then having functionality issues but I can’t even pair them they can’t be found. They pair quick and easy to my SmartThings hub but not HomeAssistant
I hope someone can help and maybe guide me in the right direction…
