Samsung TV HA pop - up every 10 seconds

Since a week ago, or something in that timeframe, I have gotten a notification in HA regarding a integration that needs to be reconfigured. It is my Samsung TV integration (Q70R), but when I try to reconfigure it, a pop up occurs on the TV to allow Home Assistant to control it. This I of course allow, and then the integration seems to be OK in HA again. Then after 10 seconds the same pop up occurs on the TV and then I allow it once again etc. this happens like a infinite loop and it never stops to occur on the TV. After a while HA integration once again states it needs to be reconfigured. When looking at the integration page it seems like it is a new TV that is discovered as there is another Samsung tv integration that works.

I have tried to remove the integration and add it again, that doesn’t help and the TV is on a fixed IP.

Anyone know a fix for this or have tried something similar?

Exact same issue here with a Samsung 65NU7092…

Same here with a QE65Q70T

Same on my UN55KS8000…

Hi, the same problem with QE65Q60. Any solution?

I tried delete Samsung Integration and delete device “HomeAssistsnt” in TV. After this try Add new Samsung Integration and your IP. ( in APP HA per Nabucasa connection, not in web browser in local network). Now it´s working

i have the same issue. I didn’t understand your guidance. Can you please elaborate?

Dame issue. For me, it happened when I try to streaming a video from YouTube Mobile to the Tv
YouTubee app.
The Samsung integration (a new one) shows “Reconfigure” but when I click, throws error.

Samsung UN55NU7100.

Appears to be a worse problem with new 2021 models. It appears to be totally broken and unusable now…

Still a problem with 2022 models - “Samsung TV Remote” pops up every 20 seconds, no matter which Samsung integration is used. At least Tizen is SO bad that I 99% of the time use my nvidia Shield.

A while ago I gave this integration another try on my 65NU7092 and it seems fine, no errors received since installing it…so, if your model had issues before, it might be worth trying it again.

But yeah, that being said, a Shield or other Android TV/Apple TV/Fire box is definitely the way to go vs. that Tizen trash.
