I will be purchasing new AC’s which I plan on integrating into Home Assistant. The two main options I’m considering are the Samsung Wind Free models and the LG Libero models, which use ThinQ. I have searched for integrations for both of these units, but none of them seem to be perfect. From what I understand, the WindFree models have some missing modes that HA is not able to detect, while the ThinQ ACs have issues, particularly with the V2 API (which I’m not sure if the model I’m considering uses).
Does anyone have any first hand experience with these AC’s, and maybe can offer some advice?
