Hi,
I am using Home assistant in a virtual environment. I am having issues with the samsungTV component.
When i have it enabled it picks up my TV and works fine. It can switch it off and back on again (IF the state of the tv is ON within home assistant and i turn it off via the samsung remote controll - The state stays as “On” and i am able to switch it “off”, It turns the state on Home assistant to off but actually turns the tv back on.
Anyway, When the tv does come on it asks for my permission to allow home assistant access to the tv… it does this everytime. I have checked through all settings on my TV and i cant see anything to do with always allowing permissions. I even tried connecting it up via an app called anymote, which can turn it off and on no problems and always stays connected after the TV comes back on.
After i take the samsungtv component out my configuration. i get the following errors:
