Hi,
I’m helping a relative move their Domoticz+Homebridge installation into HA - I’ve been under the impression that Home Assistant’s Satel Integra component was in place for a long time and has been working perfectly - unfortunately it seems it has a major flaw.
I’ve found that it is not possible to switch multiple outputs at once using that component. After it created switchable outputs I converted them to lights, and when I attempted to switch multiple lights at once either in a scene in HA, or in HomeKit only the first entity got switched.
For shutters connected to Integra I solved this by creating three scripts for each shutter, and templating the covers using these scripts. For lights though, I’m at a loss.
I definitely didn’t appreciate this integration in Domoticz enough, as this was never an issue there. I realise this is caused by Satel’s ‘API’ limitations, but command queueing was definitely built into Domoticz’s component.
I did find this open issue #42111 and commented on it and I hope for this to be resolved, unfortunately until it is there’s very limited usability of this component, at least in the use case I’m confronted with.
What I love about it is the alarm panel - never seen it integrated so nicely before.
Other things that are missing - unique IDs for all entities created by the component, and no support for ABAX devices, specifically the ATD-100 temperature sensor which Domoticz does support.
If anyone has any ideas on how to either walk around this issue for lights and other switches, or how to solve it permanently, I’m a bit desperate to get any hints.
Thanks!
