Scenes - Lights not going 100% brightness with a scene

I have a scene where I have some Sengled zigbee lights set to 100% brightness but if I choose the scene they aren’t as bright as they can be (Developer Tools shows the brightness as 254). If I manually lower then raise the brightness they don’t go any brighter and Developer Tools shows the changes when made. If I manually change the color temp then they go the brightest possible. I even have two different scenes where they have two different color temps with the color temps as the only difference and even if I go from one scene to the next scene then the lights aren’t as bright as possible until I manually change the color temp with the slider in HA.

      min_mireds: 154
      max_mireds: 500
      brightness: 254
      color_temp: 166
      hs_color:
      - 0
      - 0.784
      rgb_color:
      - 255
      - 253
      - 253
      xy_color:
      - 0.325
      - 0.329

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this happens? Is there a solution to avoid having to manually change anything after activating one of the two scenes with the above setting and get maximum brightness?

me too

I have read of people using scripts instead of scenes.

I have resorted to using the Tuya cloud app to create the scenes and then trigger them from HA

I haven’t been using scenes or scripts for the lights because of the problem mentioned in the OP and because I have a lot of things in HA that I need to work on. I added scripts for lights on my Todoist for HA.

I am in the same boat with some zigbee Sengled lights. They are super dim, even at 100%. Did anyone ever find a solution for this?
