Script for my airco in HA

Hi,

I’m new to scripting in HA. I have an aircon and i want to create an automation that when i turn on the aircon, it will send a message to my phone to remember to turn it off after 30minutes. I can’t make it happen, is there somebody who can send me in the good direction?

How will HA know you’ve turned the aircon on? What have you integrated into your system?
