Script widget should stay active if script is running

I’m using scripts to control template covers in HA.
These scripts have a wait_template to wait for open/closed of the covers.
Would be nice if the script widget will stay active as long as the script is running.

i think that the HA switch does not stay active for that period.
the way to do that is to create a input boolean in HA that turns on the script if you set it to on, and set the boolean to off at the end of the script.
use that boolean in your dashboard.

You brought me on another idea.
When i use the switch, instead of the script widget, the widget stays active as long as the script is running.
That’s what i want.
