SD card + 2.12 img won't boot on RPi 3b

I downloaded https://github.com/home-assistant/hassos/releases/download/2.12/hassos_rpi3-2.12.img.gz
and used Etcher to write this to SD.

When the RPi starts up - the led flashes 3 times and then nothing. Some seconds later I can see it’s booting again, and the same 3 led flashes.

I have tested raspbian and openHabian on this SD card, and they boot fine.

At the moment I don’t have a hdmi cable, so I can’t see screen output. Will have a cable tomorrow…

Is this a known issue?

No I don’t think it should do that. It will be easier to work out once you have an HDMI cable.

I have the cable now, turns out I have the same issus as Failure To Launch - New Install of Hassio

So fixed now I assume.

not yet, however I’m going to try installing HA into Raspbian…
