In the Devices submenu (or Entities search field or Quick bar), ability to search for multiple non sequential words (or multiple words for label search as sequential words are not working either) ideally spanning more than one field (ex: device, manufacturer, labels, etc) and without resorting to filters.
plus ability to use operators (+, -, *,?)
Currently:
- search is limited to sequential words in a single data field.
- there is a single word limitation to the label field.
use case:
I added secondary features to my devices (as labels), and want the ability to search for these labels through the search field.
(the example here is a Tasmota/Wemos-Mini serving multiple purposes, the main one being a temp-hum-lux sensor for my living room but it also tracks my pond water level and water temperature
I have tried a number of variations/operators unsuccessfully
pond temp
“pond temp”
+pond +temp
pond AND temp
