Season gone?

I received a message to remove my Season settings from the configuration.yaml. Don’t have anything physically in there but do have a separate yaml of:


- platform: season
  type: astronomical

Do I need to remove this? Why is it no longer working in newer versions or won’t work in newer versions of HA?

It’s just telling you to remove the now deprecated and ignored yaml. It works fine it’s just configured in the UI now and your yaml has been imported. Remove the yaml and restart and you’ll see you still have your sensor but the repair is gone now.
