Seeking Easier Way to Switch Between Multiple Homes in Home Assistant Mobile App

I’m currently managing six different homes through the Home Assistant mobile app and finding it a bit cumbersome to switch between them. As it stands, I use the three-finger swipe or the gear icon method, but these options aren’t always quick or convenient, especially when I’m in a hurry.

Is there an easier or faster way to switch between different homes within the app? Ideally, I’m looking for a solution that allows for a seamless and efficient transition between my homes without needing multiple gestures or navigating through several menus.

Any tips, tricks, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Why don’t you use two shortcuts on your mobile home screen, each one linking to one of the servers?

Thank you for the suggestion!

I was actually about to ask if the app could support vendor-specific URLs, like hass://home/1321321, which would open the app with a specific home instance selected. This would allow us to create shortcuts or use shortcut apps to trigger these URLs, making the process even more seamless and efficient.

Just looked up and found it does indeed does that, will try to configure multiple shortcuts!

Looks like it’s even easier … On iOS shortcuts app there is Open Page acton.

Not entirely sure if this is what you found but on Android you have these kind of settings for the shortcuts

But anyhow, you seem to have found a solution that works for you.

No I dont think we have such option on iOS, but iOS “automation” app Shortcuts had something similar

For anyone searching for such information on ios

just create shourtcut with open url: homeassistant://navigate/NAMEOFDASHBOARD?server=SERVERNAME

replace NAMEOFDASHBOARD and SERVERNAME with your names
