Like it is possible on Amazon Echo Devices and Google Home / Google Nest Devices it would be great to be able to select an Media Player via HA the is the default Speaker for the Voice PE
This way it would be possible to select e.g. an Sonos Speaker that is allready the Rooms default Speaker and don’t has 3,5mm input as Speaker for the Voice PE

I’d love this as well. I have Sonos speakers in every room that I’d prefer to use as the default output for any voice or music playback from HA Voice PE. The Voice PE satellite would then be primarily used for the mic and wake word. I’m not sure if there’s a way to do this today, but so far I haven’t found it.
Having native Assist support on Sonos would be even better, but that’s unlikely to happen.
I have built in speakers in most rooms of my house! I would love for the voice response to play over them instead of the PE.
Being able to redirect a PEs audio output to a different media_player entity would allow me to use them!
