Selecting device effect in automation

Hi all,

Is it possible to select a device (kasa lightstrip) effect whilst setting up an automation action?

When using the device on its own I can select it’s effects easily enough. But when adding the device to an automation there’s no way to select which effect to trigger.

Ideally how to do this through the UI builder as I only have access through my phone to HA for a while!!

How are you adding the device? If you use call service and the entity ID the UI will normally give you options:
