Send a specific variable value to Homematic

Hi,

I am using HomeMatic and HomeAssistant with two separate installations on two Raspberry’s. In addition I am using the project “solaranzeige.de” for my PV and this one is sending a lot of values to HomeMatic to control a lot of automations.
HomeAssistant is used to control things which I cannot control within HomeMatic and to get several different data. Solaranzeige.de is finally used to display the main information of my PV and the status of some of my automations.

Now I would like to send the current battery capacity of my BMW 225xe to HomeMatic (as variable). I am able to send variables using automations within home assistant.
The question is - is it possible to send the value of the entity “225xe iPerformance Remaining battery percent” to HomeMatic as variable and if yes, how???

Many thanks!

Kind regards,

Michael

Any ideas?

Assume no one did it so far?

If you are using the old integration:
Homematic - Home Assistant and Homematic - Home Assistant

If you are using the new integration: GitHub - danielperna84/custom_homematic: Custom Home Assistant Component for HomeMatic and GitHub - danielperna84/custom_homematic: Custom Home Assistant Component for HomeMatic

I am using the old integration… but this does not really show me how I could send the value of an entity to a Homematic variable…

Have a look at templates.
