Is it possible to send a command to google assistant/google home from HA?
For example, I would like to send ‘play cnn on youtube tv on living room shield’
I think this is the only way i can get channels called directly…
I don’t think you can do it, but you could buy an IR reciever like ‘Flirc’, which is very easy to programme, and then use some kind of IR transmitter that is compatible with Home Assistant.
mine as well use harmony. i need to call an app and channel direfctly that wont work
