Sendo A/C unit with Wifi Control (BroadLink_OEM-T1)

Finally I succeeded, for information my problem was that the vesion of ac freedom is the last one, to succeed in integrating the air conditioners, it is necessary to remove the air conditioner to redo the integration, but it is not necessary to go to the end of the procedure, it is necessary to stop just after saving the name, and immediately delete the application, and miraculously it appears in HA.

Hi all… I’m back.

Im going to try move the plugin direct to Hass without needing dockers/python hacks etc. (I eventually moving over to Hass , away from openhab)

I am in the same boat as you where before.

Can you expand the instructions a little more?

What version of Acfreedom were you using?

I did never solved this. But have found a work around. Bolean wich activate google sdk text input asking the system to run the hvac. Works for me.

I installed a new Sendo AC yesterday. After unsuccessfully fiddling around with the AC Freedom app that was referred to in the unit’s manual, I noticed that the device creates a “SmartLife-XXXX” wifi network. I tried adding the AC to the Tuya SmartLife app, which worked, and then integrated the device into HomeAssistant using the standard Tuya integration.

Great will try this. I have 3 units under the AC freedom app.
Did you just add AC unit (wifi) and the tuya app picked them up without any resets?

Update: I couldn’t see any “SmartLife-XXXX” wifi network. so was unable to connect.
Might try a different phone as this redmi sometimes acts differently. I am sure I’ve seen that smartlife-xxx before though

My units don’t have a reset button I believe

Finally got this working with a new container for ac2mqtt and integrated into HA.
Funtions connect and work!!! :grinning: :grinning:

Spoke too soon. 2 out of 3 units now show unavailable! :sob:
Is there a setting in the config I’m missing perhaps? Or the units just not submitting any information?

After rebooting the container it picked them up again.
Appears it is not snooping monitoring? Possibly a setting in the docker container?

Update: modified the config to discovery: True
mqtt explorer has many many more topics appearing now.
Hopefully that will keep it up and running

Only remaining issue I’m having is that one AC keeps going to state unavailable - can ping the ip address so its on the network. container logs for ac2mqtt says monitoring…
Mac and IP are reserved in the dhcp also.

Does anyone know if this works with a Sendo Cronos 2 inverter airco? (SND - 09/CRS3)
It seems it uses a different app (Sendo Smart App) but I’m unsure whether it’s rebranded or uses a different protocol…
