Sensibo HVAC Controller - Weekly / Daily Scheduler

Please let me know if posting a package is in appropriate here.

This HVAC controller was written to suit the Sensibo Sky, Air and Air Pro units. It will not work with non Sensibo HVAC controllers as it uses Sensibo provided actions to correctly set the HVAC. The Suite provides as many time periods through the day and week that you require to run your HVAC system.
The system can use any thermometer to control the room/space temperature. Should you rely on the HVAC temperature sensor you may need to create a sensor that allow the system to read the temperature, as HVAC entities often lock the temperature sensor as an attribute (current_temperature.)

Technically, this is a package that contains a blueprint and a script that need to stored appropriately on the HA system as per the documentation in the Blueprint.
You will also need to provide (create) a number of sensors to act a monitors of the HVAC and current setting requirements.

Hi Craig Rayner,

It’s not inappropriate per-se to post that. (On second thought, because it’s a zip file and not open code, it might not be OK.)

It’s just that few people will know what to so with a zip file in their downloads, and how to get that into Home assistant. You may be over estimating the tech savy of the average blueprint consumer.

I would have an entire how-to here for all the installation types and all the platforms. If you have in fact created that somewhere other than the zip file, you need to link it here. If it’s only in the zip file people will download it on Windows or Linux or Mac or RaspOS and have no idea it is there.

(I clicked the link 2x before I figured out it downloaded a zip file, which frankly I will not open because it could be malicious, I have no way of checking…)

Thanks for the reply, and I see your point. I have removed the zip file and now point you direct to the GIST page. That is a more likely chance of not being malicious.

That’s better.

Now I could set that up. (nice custom template BTW) but you still need specific instructions.

I have seen 1 other blueprint with macro’s, and they chose to share the macro in HACS, and include a link to the BP there along with any other instructions.

That is what I suggest, then they (customers) can load the template, load the BP with HA tools, and only have to add the whatever other code and helpers.

A post here would still be welcome or it could be in share your projects.

Here’s the other one that’s in HACS as a template…

Thanks, will look into the HACS option, but will need to learn that first. The instructions are hard code into the BP, so hopefully most people can navigate the installation, but no plan ever survives contact with the enemy.
