Sensor circular indicators on Lovelace - how?

This is probably a basic and dumb question, but it’s been driving me nuts.

On the automatic Lovelace dashboard, at the top I’ve got a number of circular button type items showing sensor data (people status, update status, time, date and various other things). They look quite nice, but I can’t figure out how to include items like that in a manually created Lovelace dashboard.

What type of card or item are they? How can they be manually created?

I’ve looked through what’s available, and I can’t see how to do it. Can anyone help?

Go to the page you want to add the badges to.

Click the three dot menu in the top right corner of the interface, then select Edit Dashboard.

Next to the symbol/name of the tab you are on is a little ‘edit’ symbol (pencil), click that.

In the pop up, click the badges tab.

Add/remove/edit your badges.

Click save.
