Dear community colleagues,
my porta filter coffee machine (La Marzocco Linea Micra) provides a shot time.
On default, this sensor delivers seconds of a shot with three decimals.
Since I do not need the decimals, I changed the setting of the sensor.
This was fine. Since a few days, three decimals are back regardless what setup the sensor has (always three decimals regardless what was set).
Any idea?

Delete this sensor from your dashboard and then add it again
Same is happening with me, but with the ping sensor. It doesn’t show the correct decimal cases. It started to happen after an update.
If these are device_class: duration entities, they have their own special formatter and don’t use display precision.
Mine is device_class: connectivity.
Connectivity is a binary_sensor device class, not for numeric sensors… you’re sure you’re not looking at the wrong one?
