Sensor in Homekit Bridge Accessory Mode - QR code disappears

Hi there,

I’m trying to enable some sensor items for homekit using the homekit bridge. I’d like to use the accessory mode as for some reason they won’t show up in the bridge mode and I also don’t want to add all sensors to homekit.
So I tried in accordance to the documentation to add a new entry in “homekit bridge”, then (before adding it to homekit) I click on configure, change it to accessory mode, use sensor, in the next step I choose my sensor and save.
And in this exact moment the notification with the QR code disappears in HA.

Reboot and so on won’t help.

Any ideas?
It works for e.g. a camera using the same steps. But not for the sensors I tried.

I may have a clue.
I have two sensors that I want. One is a battery charge value (percent) and the other is watts.
Both are not listed under supported integrations.
