Sensor loses connection and shows the same value

HI. I use Zigbee2mqtt to connect my zigbee devices to Home Assistant. It happens that some of them lose the connection, why does HA always show the same value, as in the Zigbee2mqtt dashboard instead of reporting that the connection is broken? Also in the Z2M map it shows that it is also connected with a good level.
Is there any Zigbee2mqtt setting to prevent this from happening?

Zigbee doesn’t immediately flag a device as “unavailable”. For battery-powered devices the timeout is about six hours. During that time sensor values remain unchanged.

If you’re using Z2M you can change this in Settings | Availability, however some devices sleep and don’t report their status very often.

You can change the defaults for mains (10 minutes) & battery (25 hours) powered devices respectively using the following screen in Z2MQTT

Thanks, I tried these changes and some sensors now correctly report their unavailable status!

Great, now please mark my post as the solution so that others with the same problem will know how to fix it.
