I’m thinking there may be a compatibility issue with the latest Home Assistant and the companion app for macOS. I’m aware the app needs to be open for sensors to update, however even in this situation, all of my sensors for all of my macOS devices stopped updating after I applied the latest Home Assistant updates.
I’ve tested on my iOS devices, and those sensors do update when the app is open, so it seems to be related to macOS. I’ve seen this on two different computers. Any ideas?
On each computer, here are the details on what I’m running:
Companion app: 2024.2 (2024.561)
macOS: 14.3.1 (23D60) (Apple silicon Mac Mini)
Home Assistant:
