i really love the picture-elements to create an interactive map of my house. The easiest way to control something is by clicking the exact image of it i believe. I have a bunch of dynamic images which will show the temperature in a room, solar production and other stuff. Because those numbers must integrate in the complete map (including resizing) i cannot use the default labels because they will not resize and are a different style.
This works all perfect for now except the fact those images (which are in fact camera templates with a still_image_url) will update every x seconds (default 10). When i click the temperature up button of the air-conditioning the image of the actual temperature setting will update after 10 seconds which is not quite nice.
To solve this an extra service would be nice to force the update of the camera template. This way i can force the update after clicking a button.
