Service hue.hue_activate_scene not found

I have the hue integration setup and everything is working fine. I would like to triggger a hue scene from an automation, but the service hue.hue_activate_scene is not available. According to the documentation it should be available. I have the V2 bridge.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I saw a few people posting this exact thing on the FB group and both reported that a reboot fixed it.

Restart fixed it. Thanks!

Same here. It happens occasionally. Reboot worked. But it’s not really a solution, when automations, scripts or buttons are depending on it. Any ideas as to the cause of the service going awol?

Have you found a solution to this? I am running into the same issue.

I’m having the same problem, a hard reset of my home assistant computer brought the service back - but I’m hesitant to rely on this service for automations now

I am just re-creating the scenes in HA and calling them directly. The light turn on service is mostly reliable with Hue, every once in a while one light missed the instruction so I often run the scene twice in a row.

I just got this on freshly installed Home Assistant 2021.3.2 version. Not sure I’d this made any difference but it was working normally, then I turned on showing hue light groups. After some time I tried the automation with the hue service and the service just wasn’t there. Lights were still detected.
