How can I set all Hue lights to revert to the last state including color using zigbee2mqtt?
If I set color_temp_startup at startup after power failure, it doesn’t work. Colors are ignored and it even turns on if it was off. Also the light strips don’t have that option.
There has to be another way. It worked on the hue bridge.
I have the same problem…
I migrated from the hue bridge to zigbee2mqtt. In the hue app I was able to define the startup behavior for all devices but in zigbee2mqtt it´s not possible (only for a few of them).
same here… migrated from deconz/phoscon to zigbee2mqtt … in deconz it was possible to set the behavior after power outage… i tried it with the settings described in the bulb manual without success. sorry, was using mqtt explorer for setting the value and had choosen the wrong bulb… the recover parameter is working for me… at least for the one test bulb im using…
ok… sometimes it works sometimes not… i guess there is kind of sync delay for the last state to state.json… currently i’m not able to figure out when it will work and when not
Is there a way to recognize that the bulb is online again and reachable by a status entity?
Haven’t found anything but had the idea to create an automation based on that which sets a specific scene.
It is really annoying if the lights start with full intensity after power is back. I have a conventional switch and use it for the dining table lighting. With Hue app it worked perfectly fine that is powered on with previous light settings…
