I finally gave up on the Alen app since its scheduling is completely FUBAR. Sometimes it would turn on something, but then the next schedule to turn it off wouldn’t run. Or it wouldn’t run at all. My thought was to use Tuya Local in HA since it seems to handle scheduling for all my other stuff without fail.
I got all my purifiers (35i and 75i models) added in Tuya Local with no issues, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to set the fan to Auto mode. I can change speeds and turn them on/off, but no auto mode anywhere. When I search the Net to find answers I keep finding things that say I should be able manually add an entity to the purifiers, but none of the directions seem to work as I can’t find an “add entity” button anywhere.
I even installed the official Tuya integration to see if that allowed it, but it’s the same thing. No matter where I look when setting up an automation there’s no option to set auto mode.
If anyone can help me out here that would be great. Thanks in advance.
