Setting up local USB printer with CUPS via Portainer

Logs are only for “Business User”

What do you mean with “Host Port”?
I leave the Portainer Port but i change the Port from which device?

Sorry Iam new to this  But thanks for heloing me out here!

You should be able to see the logs by clicking on the Logs under Quick Actions like in the image below:

What I meant by Host Port is the previous instructions that I sent.
Instead of using 631 to Host, change to 6631:

Ah okay.

The log repeats the same every second:

2024-10-31T22:44:07.278513000Z New password: Retype new password: passwd: password updated successfully

Tried the different host port but it looks like it’s changed nothing. The log isn’t different after the change.

Hi @Squall40

I’m not very familiar with the cups container used in HA.
I ended up setting up a different cups in a separate docker server in order to auto turn on/off the printer.

Take a look at this thread. They mentioned cups addon.

Okay no Problem, thanks for the help anyways =)
I’ll look at your link, i hope this will fix my issue!

Have a great Sunday

I recently installed Hass and want to add an USB printer to my network (samsung m2675F). I already dowloaded the CUPS integrations and added my printer to it with the integrated driver for it (Samsung M267x 287x Series PXL).
I can see the printer from any device connected to my network. It also detected on the hass installation (rapsi 5) as an IPP printer.
However when I try to print the test page from CUPS the message “If you can read this you are using the wrong driver for your printer”. When I try to print from a device nothing happend.
If anyone has already had this issue…

Please excuse my english I’m not native.
