Setting up new Thead devices with Thread Border Router

I have a skyconnect dongle setup with the Thread integration setup and displaying a thread border router

However when I try to add a new thread device (an Onviss plug) on my android phone I get through the setup but when adding it it says “You need a thread border router to add this device”.

Where am I going wrong?

For Thread devices, you currently need to manually sync the Thread credentials after first setup. See step 3 in this guide: Thread - Home Assistant.
