Setting up Spotify zones via home assistant

Hello,

I have a multi room audio system that I control via home assistant. For music, I mostly use a sonos connect which can stream Spotify. The sonos is connected to an audio matrix, which can then distribute the audio to ceiling speakers in my house, AV receivers for the larger rooms etc. The matrix is controlled via the home assistant app, where I can choose in which zones I want to listen to music. This all works very well, but it’s a bit annoying (especially for my wife) that you need to switch between different apps to first choose the music and then where to play it . Spotify allows you to choose on which device to play the music in the app via Spotify connect and chromecast i think. For example I can choose my sonos in there. It would be great if I could directly choose the rooms where I want to play it from the app. So in an ideal world, I would choose my playlist in the Spotify app, then I would choose " living room". This gets picked up by home assistant, which would then make the audio matrix route the audio from the sonos to the living room output. So I guess that would require to set up "virtual devices " that are visible from the Spotify app, but whose only purpose is to tell home assistant what to do. Is that somehow possible? Doesn’t have to be Spotify by the way. I’m happy to use another streaming service that would enable me to get this done
