Hello everyone,
I was reading about this project done to the FLIC buttons. ~
You need the flicd running on the device where you pair the buttons. I have a Pi Zero W for this in a central place in my house.
In Home Assistant I only have to add the IP of the Pi Zero W to let the buttons work.
binary_sensor:
- platform: flic
host: x.y.z.d
and i got thinking, we can do this to have several instances of Z-wave right? I was able to get the same wifi in 2 seperate houses, in my land. but off course the z-wave cant reach both houses.
but if i put a pi0 connected to the wifi, with another z-wave doongle, will it work?
best regards

I feel that when noone answer is because you are telling me that this has been talked before! loool
I have my main HomeAssistant OS build running on Promox in the house with a HUSBZB (1). Works great.
My Garage is too far away for any type of reliability with ZigBee and Zwave so I have a small Pi with a HUSBZB (2) stick in the garage and link the two systems with remote-home assistant. It works fine but not without its caveats.
I am running the new Zwave JS and Zwave2MQTT to manage them. I see there is a remote access port that allows external clients to connect. This gives me the sense…
