Do you guys have experience (maybe from last year) with Better Thermostat`s AI based calibration and Tado TRVs?
Does it work, and if so, is it better than the normal calibration based on a external sensor?
I do have a external temperature sensors (also from Tado) that I feel are all well positioned and working and I wonder if it`s worth to switch to this AI feature.
For me, it’s not working. When I use AI Time-Based Calibration and set the target temperature to 19°C, the thermostat keeps heating even after the temperature sensor exceeds 22°C. It only slightly closes the valves and fails to reach the target temperature, or even come close. I’m not sure if it needs more training time, but since I couldn’t find any information on how this feature actually works—and because I keep overheating in my room as it continues to heat despite it being far too warm—I stopped using it and switched back to normal mode.
