I recently installed a Shelly 1 to automate my outdoor lights.
I can turn the lights on and off with HA but there is a delay in the state.
Only after 20 seconds the state gets an update.
I’m using a Unifi network, the Shelly is in range of the AP and has a 70% quality.
Any idea how to fix this?
Use a local mqtt broker rather than the shelly cloud.

I have the same Problem since yesterday. I installed a new (5th) shelly and did firmware updates on them. since then i hav the same delay between 10 an 30 seconds. The day before the first 4 worked perfect.
Did you try with mqtt? I have never worked with mqtt, but I would try, if it really solves the problem.
It really is quite simple.
You subscribe to a topic on a broker. If a message comes in on that topic, the broker sends the message to all the subscribed clients. Other than a few quality of service options that’s pretty much it.
Also be aware there is a problem with Shelly firmware v1.8 if you are using the third party ShellyForHASS integration.
