Hi, maybe I was looking with the wrong keywords, but unfortuntately I did not find an answer to my question in this forum. I hava added a temperature sensor to the shelly 1 and its values are shown in the shelly frontend. But temperature is not availabel via HomeAssistant. Is there anything I can do, to integrate this information?
Thanks!
I recall that not all the entities are enable by default, try enable it. Go the Shellly integration, click on the shelly device, click the “6 entities” choose the unavailable entity, on setting tab there is a switch to enable.
Activating this did show only two value that are not avaliable. BUT: It did trigger a request to the shelly 1 and after a few seconds two additional values were availabel - including temperatur. Yes! Thanks!
I think the issue was, that I first did integrate the shelly. And after this I added the temp sensor to the shelly, what HA did not recognize.
I had same problem – I added the DTS18B20 temperature probe after Shelly 1PM had been already detected in Home Assistant.
For version 20240104 here’s how I made it detect the newly added sensor:
Settings > Devices & Services > Integrations tab > Shelly > Devices > Click the 3 dots > Reload.
Then new entity (temperature) was picked up (now show 14 entities instead of 13).
