I just installed a Shelly 1PM in a two way switch configuration. It’s working great except for one thing and that is that I need to toggle the manual switches twice if I turned the lights on or off from within the app. I did not expect that, is that normal?
PS: I installed the Shelly in the light outlet and not behind one of the two switches to that I did not have to pull a neutral wire.
No, I don’t think it is normal. I don’t have a shelly1PM, but I have 10 shelly 1’s installed, and none behave like this.
I found the problem! I needed to put the Shelly in edge mode.

Sure, just go into your Shelly app, select a device and go to settings. Under button type you can select edge mode.
PS: You cannot do this from HA.
