I have a Shelly 2PM which basically has 2 button operated blinds (like the two physical switches they have)
The thing is that I’m looking to some cards for blinds but they don’t seem to fit for me, because this doesn’t have a status that suggests the % of how closed or open are the blinds.I can only know when they are 100% up or down (because it outputs 0W when they are full open or closed).
I don’t like any of cover cards either. I rather created 3 cards with “custom:button-card” . One for up, one for down and in the middle one small for showing percentage. I positioned them vertically. (In the pic text means “cover is UP”)
I have esphome FW on all my shelly devices, not original firmware, so, i think that it’s calculated from esphome’s side and sent to HA. When blind is moving number is refreshed every second and shown in the middle “card”.
There are a couple of customs cards for shutters, but they seem to require a “stop” entity, something unfortunately missing from the shelly standard FW. Its a shame as I don’t know otherwise how to have install an effective and intuitive card for my dashboard.
What do you mean “require stop” ? My cover has only up and down buttons in HA card (and also just two pushbuttons on the wall), but if i press either of them during cover movement it will stop. I don’t have any stop button in my custom HA card.
You didn’t say which electronics and FW you have… i have shelly 2.5PM with ESPHome and it works flawlessly.
