How the On/Off function work? Because there isn’t any relay…?

Transistor and triac I believe.

@truglodite It is pretty simple to convert existing or new Decora Style switches to momentary by bending the spring inside and reinstalling the contactor. If you are to purchase the momentary switches they can cost you from $15-$30 USD each

Hey that sounds pretty interesting. I’m sure I could figure it out dissecting an old decora, but do you happen to have a link that goes over this mod?

Sure thing there are some on YouTube for double https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjIl0zG2vN8
and single https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QJgYJfNKRI
Looks like the double is a fail video but been using single mods for years now! probably 5+ got a couple of double mods also but never had a failure

Well, I suppose all brands will have their differences etc. Unfortunately those are cooper’s, not Levitons like I’ve got (plus I need to do some 3-ways). Oh well, not like a spare switch to experiment/learn on is too expensive.

I use Levitons same idea you will see inside of the switch not that hard to do

I’ll also be dissecting some non-decora’s I’ve got in my work box. Although, using a 3-way with 3-way wiring is a whole other subject, I’d be curious to come up with applications for a 3w momentary anyways. I’ve got lots of those I’d love to convert as well… that would allow me to bring a few older shelly’s out of storage.

One note with this method the switch is high or in contact until pressed then low (no connection) so remember that logic. The idea is that when you bend the metal you are forcing full contact until bottom is pressed the momentary disconnect.

Oh I never say @digiblur did the same mod here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSENAY9_AlI

Shelly Dimmer and Dimmer 2 are officially supported in Tasmota since v9.1.0.2

Is there also ESPHome available for both Dimmer and Dimmer 2?

No.
Personally I use the stock firmware with MQTT.
