Hi everyone,
I purchased a Shelly EM and have it setup as follows;
1 clamp is connected to the street feed-in to the house. This is measuring what is coming in from the grid.
1 clamp is connected to the breaker that the solar is connected to.
Both of these are single-phase 240v. The problem is the following;
The Grid Power is showing 0.6479kW which is correct. That is the live data of the current consumption. The solar on the other hand is showing -0.1620kW which can’t be right. At the moment it is 12:00am and there is no sun. Should this not be showing a value of 0W? I don’t yet have access to my inverter to check to see what it’s doing. I would however like to get the Shelly EM setup correctly.
Also, should the clamp on the solar be rotated to give this a positive value?
Does anyone know what is going on with this?
Cheers.
