Not sure what you mean here…I was looking at just clamping the feed from wall socket to oven, and supplying the EM with power from a 13amp plug, and maybe put it all in a nice little box)
My fusebox is in need of a serious upgrade, its still got the old pull out with a bit of fuse wire in a creamic tube kind of thing. The thought of messing around in there doesn’t fill me with confidence, Really need to get it all upgraded.
There’s I think one possible reason why this won’t work: “the two measured circuits and the Shelly EM must be on the same phase” (Shelly Shop USA, not mentioned in the manual )
But it’s likely you only have a 1-phase supply, so it should work.
Had a complete Kitchen refit and re-wiring in the end ( not for this problem, it just needed doing) so as part of that specced out Shelly 1PM’s on every socket and appliance and as I also needed a new fuse box to supply new feeds ( switched from Gas to Electric) has the EM installed in the fusebox. The Induction Hob doesnt report very well, but the Oven is fine.
