Shelly Gen 4 mini - Garage door needs Auto off - HA?

Hi all

Sorry meaby a stupid question.

I just got a Shelly gen 4 mini working with My garage door. Very nice!

But in this docunentation it says that i need auto off for 1 sec.

But I want to make a bottum in HA to open the garage door. But do I Then need to make the auto off in HA also? I have made the auto off in the Shelly app :blush:

If you mean a physical button then just connect it to the Shelly SW input.

If you mean a dashboard button, then no that does not need an auto-off either. The Shelly will do that for you.

Use the button tap action to turn the Shelly switch on. Then the Shelly turns itself off after 1 second.
