I tried do use Shelly Plug Plus US to extend my bluetooth around my house to improve reliability and everything seems to be set up right (active bluetooth scanner mode, newest software, integrated in HA) but it isn’t discovering any bluetooth devices. I have an Intel NUC running HA and turned off the native bluetooth to that and my bluetooth devices wouldn’t be discovered with the Shelly. When I turn the NUC bluetooth integration back on, the bluetooth devices are now discoverable in HA. I am just trying to use an easy device to extend my bluetooth near my Yale smart locks for more reliability instead of wifi. With the native Intel NUC Bluetooth, sometimes the connection drops due to location of the the locks vs NUC.
I’m not too savvy when it comes to coding which is why I wanted just a plug and play option to increase bluetooth connectivity. It seems to work in other people’s youtube videos but for some reason it wont discover anything with just the plugs. I’m open to easier options if there are any available.
Thanks for your help!
