Shelly Plus 1PM missing rssi sensor

Hi,

the Shelly Plus 1PM gen2 used to provide the rssi sensor. It seems that after the 2024.2.1 core update this sensor is gone. The Shelly Plus 1PM still shows the proper value on its local website. Other Shelly devices still provide the rssi sensor.
Any idea what happened and maybe a solution suggestion (or what am I missing here).
Kind regards,
Wieslaw

Is it disabled or hidden?

That’s a gen 1 PM but I’m pretty sure I had to enable it.

Maybe they updated the gen 2 PM wifi sensor to be disabled by default?

Thanks for answering. Already checked. The rssi sensor is gone and in the Diagnostic Pane I have only this:

Yellow:

  • Core 2024.2.1
  • Supervisor 2024.01.1
  • Operating System11.5
  • Frontend 20240207.1

And it has not been mis-categorised into one of the other panels?

No. That would be easy

Checked on another HA instance (RPi4) with the same Shelly Plus 1PM entity and the rssi sensor is provided and visible in HA.
This instance is based on:

Today my Yellow updated to Core 2024.2.2. The problem remains.
@tom_l do you think that this is already time to inform the NabuCasa guys and the Shelly integration maintainer about the problem?
Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Solution:
Sensor rssi is not provided when Wi-Fi 1 is disabled.
Visit the Shelly 1 PM under its IP, go to Settings > Network settings > Wi-Fi and in WiFi 1 settings panel tick (on) Enable Wi-Fi network (provide the SSID and Password for your Wifi), then Save. I disabled Wi-Fi 2.
Maybe the Shelly integration needs reloading, mine did not. The rssi sensor is back.
