Hello, long time automater… first time poster 
I’ve been wanting to automate my gate operator for quite a while. I live in the country, and the gate is 200 feet from the house. Finally trenched in December for networking and new power.
Powered a Shelly Pro 1 with 120V to tie into the Cycle terminal of the of the control board of my Mighty Mule. Created a momentary switch in HA to trigger the Shelly. I need a piece of DIN rail to mount the relay to 
Added WIFI at the gate today to support the Shelly Window/Door Sensors I have on order for a gate sensor and mailbox sensor.
Other than using my HA app on my phone to replace my antiquated handheld clicker, planning to automate based on my location. Also will use it from work to let delivery people into the property.
Ecstatic about HA since I made the jump in December!!!
