I’m trying to setup my Shelly 1L and Shelly Dimmer 2 with the official integration. Instead of multicast I want to configure the recommended unicast. But the response time is easily 20 to 30 seconds.
I’m not sure where in my configuration the problem lies. I’m running Home Assistant through the official standalone docker container, as part of the host network, and privileged. In the Shelly web UI I’ve pointed CoIoT to 192.168.1.75:5683, which is the address of my home server.
Listening to the shelly.click event I see button presses coming in with the same delay or not at all. I’m really not sure what part I’m supposed to investigate next. The weird thing is I didn’t had this problem with multicast at all. But from what I understand this causes quite some network noise?
