Since I am running automations to add items to the shopping list, I think it would be a useful feature to have an option for the shopping list to disable adding items which are already on the list, so there can be no duplicate entries.
I voted but doubt that this will make it… have a look here too

Supporting this very strong. For adding items to the shopping list via VOICE it is neccessary to ignore duplicates - as you dont see the list in that moment.
