Should i be able to browse my media assistant from this media menu?

I have done the following:
Added this to my configuration.yaml

media_player:

  • platform: music_assistant

Also added home assistant as a provider to Music Assistant.

Ive got MA server and MA intergrations installed.

Restarted all my yaml, no reboots though.

MA Server Version 2.4.2
HA Version 2025.2.5

Is there any particular reason you didn’t ask here in Music assistant?
The people that are watching that thread are all either interested. users of, or authors of Music Assistant.
They are likely your best resource. Also there is a Discord: Music Assistant

And in short. No. Music assistant is its own interface entirely. I can’t see ALL of your user interface due to the cropping. … But If you’re where I think you are… That browser’s the HA native media library

Sorry I coundnt find a MA tag or catergory.

This is directly from media_player.home_group.

HA allows browsing of all other media, I had to assume that because MA is allowing browsing of media it should show up here or ideally replace the “Browse Media” button with its own interface?
