The idea is that when I add something in any other view, it should automatically appear in the home view. Without having to add it to the home view manually.
That’s not possible as far as I know. I don’t see why you would want to do that?
the home view is useful as a general overview of all smart devices. previously it was generated automatically, but now that i am using ui-lovelace.yaml in yaml mode it is not.
i am curious as to what people usually have on the home views.

But to be serious that’s the whole point of taking control of your lovelace config - so you can have exactly what you want there and how it’s displayed.
My personal preference is to have it be a general view of all the general states of devices or integrations that I would use regularly - lights, switches, garage door controls, my google calendar is on there as well as a card to tell me who’s home and if they aren’t let me know where they are (if they are in a zone).
Until just recently I also had my security camera’s there but I decided the page was too big so I moved those to their own view.

I know this is an old thread, but I am trying to do exactly this and am struggling to figure it out. Did you ever find a solution for this?
