I haven’t updated past the Beautiful Badges update (2024.8) because I just cannot use them … they’re unequal lengths, they are / can be too long, they take up too much real estate and look awful in a mobile presentation.
I’ve tried to use multiple horizontal/vertical stacks with tile cards to more closely replicate the former neat and tidy badge appearance, but it’s just not working for me.
I’m looking for inspiration on how to quickly glance at 10-15 high priority items (things I quickly glance at to confirm states before going to sleep at night, or when away from home, for example).
Please don’t ask why I don’t like beautiful badges. I don’t like them. I will not like them. This is not green eggs and ham; I’ve tried it and don’t like them, Sam I am. I’ve explained it above.
Please try to show use of stock functionality (I’m not a fan of custom mods as I’ve been burned by them breaking with core updates in the past).
Please show how it might look in both desktop and mobile format (or show desktop specific and mobile specific dashboards).

Tried “Glance” card? I use this combined with entity-filter to hide anything that’s in a non-exceptional state. So anything that appears in the card is my “high priority” items to look at.
Suggest you to keep using non-beautiful badges then ))).
They are still available.
They are still card-moddable.
The only thing you cannot do - set a unique “name” option, but there is a card-mod-based workaround for that.
I actually have another 20 or so entities that are templates to conditionally appear in the markdown.
The ones above are always present key information with conditional formatting based on time of day, home presence, etc. The primary intent is to have these key items easily readable, color-coded, and consistently placed so I’m not hunting for the right badge.
Yeah - tried, unique names are key for purposes of formatting. Also … I’ve been burned by changes to support. Looking for something as stock / supportable as possible that isn’t the “beautiful badge.”
