Show the state of my air damper with two switches

Configuration

Air damper + two switches.
Switch A turns on for 30 seconds (air damper opens) and then turns off.
Switch B turns on for 30 seconds (air damper closes) and then turns off.
Please, help me to know the state of the air damper: is it closed or open.
What is the best way to do this?

You can create dropdown helper to display status of device you want to control. When you create helper you will need automation to update status of devices.
When you have a working status of devices you can do with it what you please.
