I recently picked up and connected a Hue bulb and have it working for normal on/off automations based on ambient light level.
What I’m looking to achieve and have thus far been unsuccessful with is using them as indicators. The intended outcome would be for it to signal state changes and then return to previous state.
Ex Lights are on in the evening set at 2700k 100%. Washer finishes cycle, light turns red for 15sec and then returns to 2700k 100%.
This also needs to work when the light is off during the day as well.
